Ken Aderholt and his Family have been raising cattle on his land in Harrold, Texas since the early 40’s along the Texas Oklahoma border. Aderholt has been grooming his to boys to eventually take over what he has built for all these years. Aderholt says “It has been running through generations and handed on down to me, they come down here a lot and play, they help with the cattle and help building fences. They are very interested in hanging round here and helping me out.”
Back again to meddle in his property rights is the land grabbing Bureau of Land Management. In the last few years several other property owners throughout the Red River valley have also been threatened with land seizures by these government goons. The land his family has owned for over 70 years, the BLM is claiming no longer belongs to him.

Aderholt stated “The BLM is saying we should have never had a deed to it. That Texas should have never produced that deed”.
This 2nd generation rancher will not comply with the threat and will not give his land away and that they need to expect a fight.
He says the BLM does have a right along the gradient boundary, and that “It varies, the way the water washes and cuts into different properties, but it has always been just a little slither of property.”
But the Bureau of Land Management, are trying to put a stake at what they say is the true boundary which is a half a mile in from the Red River. This would be a federalized theft of close to 600 of the Aderholt family’s 1,250 acres. “It is a land grab, and as far as I am concerned, this is private property.” Aderholt also said that his house is located on the land that the government wants to steal from him. We at Dontcomply.com will be there again like we were last year , when the BLM threatened to steal land last time, a rally was organized and many Texans showed up in numbers and invited the BLM to speak. That didn’t happen as we waited and stood our ground. So another round in North Texas is soon upon us where we again will draw our line in the sand. Some ranchers have jumped through hoops and have done what was required and accepted by the BLM to get their land back that was stolen. Prevention of the theft in the first place is the reason why a standoff will happen.
The BLM announced this in their recent statement before having some meetings with the public.
Management alternatives to be developed will be informed by the extensive public scoping that occurred last year and the results of these meetings. The agencies employ an interdisciplinary approach to ensure consideration of a full range of resource issues and concerns. Specialists with expertise in minerals and geology, archaeology, wildlife and fisheries, lands and realty, hydrology, soils, livestock grazing, recreation, sociology, and economics are engaged, along with cooperating agencies with special statutory authority to participate (e.g. counties). Each workshop will include a formal presentation about potential planning alternatives and will seek public input to help guide the development of alternatives.
This planning process complies with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the Federal Land Management and Policy Act (FLPMA) which require the agencies to develop RMPs and periodically update/revise them based on cumulative experience, changing conditions, new science and public input. The goal is to arrive at management decisions through an open and collaborative process that best meet local, regional and national needs.

I think they have already shown what happens when citizens try to comply, surrender, or cooperate.
