In the latest installation of persuasion to the citizens that government is here to help. A recent news report out of Florida details the microchipping of American children with the prediction that it will happen “sooner rather than later” with the acceptance to follow just like when the barcode was introduced.
Rodroguez-Neely, a mother of three who cries about temporarily losing track of her daughter in a retail store said that it’s “every parent’s nightmare when you can’t find your child.” Rodroguez-Neely is instantly lured into population control scheme, “If it’ll save my kid, there’s no stuff that’s too extreme, Micro-chipping would be an extra layer of protection, if something bad does happen.”
At her local Tampa Bay Moms Group, Rodroguez-Neely she was in the minority about her stance on accepting a government tracking device embedded into her kids. Kerri Levey spoke up about her concerns about this Orwellian program. “You’re putting a battery in your kid, you’re putting a chip in your kid. And, where does it stop, where? It’s going too far. This is a child we’re talking about.”
Rodroguez-Neely continues promoting this electronic babysitter by blabbing, “If a small chip the size of a grain of rice could have prevented a tragedy, I think most parents would have said, I think I would have done it.”
An electronics expert, Stuart Lipoff tries to calm the dissenters by assuring that microchipping children is completely safe and inevitable.
Lipoff explains, “People should be aware that testing is being done right now. The military is not only testing this out, but already utilizes its properties. It’s not a matter of if it will happen, but when.” He continued his comforting rhetoric by saying that we shouldn’t be worried about “big brother” tracking our kids, and that this suggested technology is only the evolution of the current barcode system.
Lipoff says, “When barcodes first came out in the late 1960s, people were appalled. They were wary of them and did not understand the concept. Today, it is so commonplace, we don’t even notice it. A microchip would work much in the same way.” Then he includes that it will “definitely happen”.
The local reporter Melanie Michael appears too have taken the bait, she says that the size of the microchip is “very very small” and that “the expert tells us this will happen sooner rather than later.” Michael concluded with “You can bet somewhere someone someday is going to pull this off and we could see those microchips in everyone.” She just doesn’t see the disturbing nature of children being tracked by the State by literally handing them over to the already overreaching rulers. This peculiar news segment seems to me as an appetizer to an upcoming entrée of another government service in the guise of safety to further undermine our personal privacy. Refuse, Resist, and Revolt, by not complying to this latest sleight of hand by the state.
