A hard-working Grand Prairie resident, husband and father of two was arrested after using his gun in self-defense and needs your help. Edgar Suarez was returning home one evening when he was stopped on the road outside his residence and a knife held to his throat by three men in an attempt to rob him or worse. He pulled his gun to defend himself. He was pinned down with return gunfire from the criminals until the police showed up. He watched as the thieves jumped into a car with the guns. The police quickly blocked off the area and Edgar told the police to not let that car go. He informed GPPD which car held the guys and guns but that was the only car the police let out of the area.
He was the only one arrested that evening. He was soon released but then arrested again a day later. He is being held on charges and needs help paying for the lawyers, bond and other costs to get out. This is a tragic incident compounded with the crooked police leaving one of own brothers behind bars and away from his children. Edgar has been prominent in his community standing up for individual rights and trying to clean it up by running out the known drug dealers. Please donate all that you can so he can return home. Let’s help our friend in need. Thank you in advance. Also please help by referring any available lawyers to Kadi Sigala.
Edgar Suarez said “People keep asking me where I’m at cause of the Go Fund Me account. Well guys I need some extra help. Thursday night 3 guys tried to pull me out of my truck at knife point. I was in fear of my life i used my gun in self-defense. Now I have to deal with attorneys and bail bonds. As many of y’all know I’ve had a bad experience with GPPD and now it’s worse NO HELP FROM THEM. SO IF Y’ALL COULD DONATE ANYTHING IT WOULD REALLY HELP OUT THANK YOU GUYS”
Also call the Grand Prairie jail and tell them to lower the bond for Edgar that is at an unreasonable amount of $50,000.
