PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA: The war on self-defense has been a tug-o-war for at least 5 score. With the erosion and usurpation of the founding document the confrontations are getting more intense as the plethora of strikes from Alinsky’s 8 steps to Socialism hurl down on the US Citizens. Five of them complete with the remaining three almost achieved. As the government programmed propaganda spews from the TV, radio, and internet, the battle for the mind is a race against time. The mirage that inanimate self-defense tools are the root of the fabricated problem is embedded in the consciousness. History tells us that bloody skirmishes with the populace versus governing bodies that are evolving into darkness always starts with disarming the people. These are often based on False Flag events and lies. Now we have a Mayor in Pittsburgh that wants to make thousands of law-abiding gun owners more defenseless and instant felons for not hurting anyone. With this ordinance that clearly says no firearms or ammunition inside the City of Pittsburgh.
Mayor Bill Peduto wrote a letter to a reported 60 other mayors encouraging them to announce the creation of more gun control laws on the 14th of December, coincidentally on the anniversary of the controversial Sandy Hook imbroglio. The citizenry has been poked enough, so much as to plan an armed march to the mayors office to demand he put an end to his gun-control proclamation. He was quoted in a local paper earlier this month saying, “It is time to come together again to take on the gun manufacturing lobbyists, and to increase our commitment at a local level to challenge the system of laws that encourage massacres and take the lives of our friends and family every single day in the United States of America.” His bright idea to restrict self-defense from law-abiding citizens as the solution to these sorts of criminal acts is backwards. The opposite would be more efficient, encourage firearm ownership, education, and training along with open carrying. The deterrent in itself would repel these types of crimes. Just as the infamous quote says “an armed society is a peaceful society”.
On Monday January 7th 2019 at high noon a projected 500 armed residents will show up at 414 Grant street Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15219 and express their grievances to this gun-grabbing mayor. I asked 1 of the organizers Justin Crock, why he wanted to march on the mayor’s office. He said: “I want to participate because rallying for our rights is the most American thing a citizen can do. I love rallies, and also attend many rallies to support people whose message I may not necessarily agree with, but believe their right to say their message is important. The 2nd Amendment is a civil right, one of the most important, and it most certainly protects the others. The wise Founders saw fit to enumerate your right to speak out against the government and peaceably assemble for a redress of grievances, then they saw fit to protect your right to bear arms right after that. They are intertwined.” They also informed me that the consultant for The group Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Freedom contacted them and are offering to speak at the event. This is an example that the shooting at the nearby synagogue was not the fault of the gun that was used but the man pulling the trigger.
I also received a quote from a high school government teacher who said: “Mayor Peduto and those of his mindset must be reminded that the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. The 2nd Amendment assures us that if it comes to it, the people of Pittsburgh will be equipped to shoot government officials who would disarm them.” This is some serious business when someone wants to take away firearms which were essential to even being a country in the first place. This protest has even drawn out more local groups like the Allegheny County Sportsmen’s League and Firearm Owners Against Crimes who sternly warned the City Council and the mayor that they will take legal action against these authoritarian laws. It’s also very predictable that the NRA (N.egotiating R.ights A.way) are a no-show on this issue. They are probably behind the scenes in fueling this fire. I hope it’s a peaceful and swift conclusion to this immoral action that’s being placed on these folks in Pittsburgh. The ideal result would be to have the Mayor and the other city officials who proposed this dangerous law escorted out of their offices and exiled.
Here’s the Facebook event page if you would like to join them in their quest for liberty.
