Jason Villalba is at it again. After a few of his previous tyrannical bills being killed, the hope is that we kill this one too.
Back in March of 2015, I put out the story of his bill seeking to eliminate the philosophical and religious exemptions for vaccine injections in school children. The video included in that story shows the evil in his eyes as he pushes his forced inoculation bill.
That same legislative session he defies the US Supreme Court and slipped in a proposed law to make it illegal to record police interactions. Fast forward to 2017, this Republican wants to mandate the harvesting of your organs without your consent when you apply for a driver’s license. HB1938, if passed would automatically make you an organ donor. The blatant disregard of human life is shown in this bill:
Discussions that I’ve heard for forced organ donation is: That we don’t own our bodies when we perish. The argument that once we pass away, our family, or ourselves have no say in what happens to the body until the body is given back to us from a cold back room. This puts whatever organ is coveted up for grabs without any consent from your immediate family. This is scary to most.
I strongly disagree with the concept that we have no vested interest in our bodies once we die. Our interests come from the values, beliefs, and knowledge that we obtained during our lives. The possession and ALL decisions belong to the immediate family or the closest loved ones who knew them well. We all would want to ensure the wishes and requests of our kin in their passing. To eliminate being one’s own person and their natural value simply because life has exited the body cavity is illogical and very disrespectful to the person and to their loved ones they leave behind.
Making organ donation mandatory severely alters the psychology of the heartwarming act. When you decide to donate your organs that decision is personal and selfless. If it becomes mandatory it changes the whole mindset of the altruistic sharing of your organs. You become just a renter of those organs until you die. The tactless action of this proposed law exposes this emotionless big-government proponent. Stripping away the rights of the people that he is supposed to serve with these dangerous laws is an obvious violation of human rights. Is this a big enough threat to be removed from office and or thrown out of a helicopter? One positive note that I see about this is, if passed, thousands upon thousands could revolt and not get the unnecessary “drivers licenses” anyway. Then finally there would be an awakening from a comatose group of people who refuse to have their bodies carved up after their death.
This bill must be stopped. Here is the contact information for this Tyrant:
