A sparsely viewed Presidential Speech was aired. Executive Orders were given by a man who has often promised to implement his will without Congress’s approval. Quietly the Task Forces were created such as The President’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing and the temporary Federal Interagency named Law Enforcement Equipment Working Group (Working Group). The Working Group Task Force later made themselves Permanent and threw out any civilian oversight that was previously required for police to obtain military equipment. As you read the membership of the (Working Group) you quickly realize that whatever they do will be in lock step with the President. Without media buzz the Final Report of Federally mandated Police Policies are developed and handed down to federal agencies disguised as local police training groups such as COPS and NTTAC as well as private 501C3s like UMPCI tasked with training local LEAs using Federal Grant money. The 22 year old Federal Agency named “COPS” (Community Oriented Policing Standards) took the recent task force recommendation and declared it to be the new rule all police must follow if they have taken any money or equipment from the Feds. Smoothly, the task force report is turned into an actionable Implementation Guide.
Unknown to most Americans, Federal agents have taken on leadership roles and train their local cops on a myriad of techniques and demand a strict adherence to these Federal policies for local police procedures. Thinly veiled from the public are the local law enforcement officers who are simultaneously engaged as trained and active Federal Agents, with superseding agendas and authority. The DOJ has created Federal Grant programs to get military gear and armored vehicles in the hands of the Law Enforcement like the popular Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance (JAG) Program. The new gear and funding comes with harsh adherence stipulations, just another way to legally lock a department in and force them to adopts all of the new Federal Policing Policies. But since this new behavior and weapon display would easily resemble a standing army, the President also sent directions to the Task Force for a “Political Correctness Program” called Community Policing to counter the citizens concerns and notion that the police are being “militarized”. The Attorney General went on a 12 city tour to promote these measures.
Presidential Proclamations like National Community Policing Week are federal initiatives to disguise themselves as caring neighbors instead of military forces set to initiate violence on peaceful people. The dozens of national programs like Coffee With A Cop are designed to fool us, with a stream of counter propaganda, into thinking the militaristic police are merely your friendly neighborhood Andy Griffith. Obama’s recent Executive Order EO 13688 created a Task Force that then released its “Recommendations” to, among other things, create action items to calm the public and keep them from being outraged. It lists ways to do this through community outreach,
social media interaction and even mandates you label your MRAP with words like “Emergency Rescue” instead of the more aptly “Comply Or Die!”. Everything has been set up and done. There is nothing left to do. You are too late to prevent it. What is needed now is a renewal and forceful declaration of our Unalieanable Rights, a visible line drawn in the sand all paired with the orderly dissolving of the local (federalized) law enforcement agencies who are bloated, bastardized beasts. They are no longer a representation of We The People and have become oppressive and tyrannical in nature. We are not talking about creating a power vacuum. More appropriate and logical ways to task the people’s safety would be a private sector security force that is implemented across the country on a town by town basis. With competing companies trying to please their customers (i.e. the residents of a particular city or subdivision) we will not get, nor tolerate the same low IQ, militarized killer mentality we have grown accustomed to receiving from the local police. The free market will provide a cheaper and higher quality service that is 100% accountable for their actions. If they ever remotely started to resemble what we have now they would be fired and replaced.
So if your confused by all this quick handed Federal shell game of who did what, you aren’t alone. It was done that way to circumvent the checks and balances and rule of law. The complete plan to transform the police into some Military style Federal Enforcement Agency is a very confusing and complex issue. There have been several Executive orders that have created several task forces that in turn created new federally standardized Police Policy “Recommendations”. The entity right in the middle is the agency called COPS (Community Oriented Policing Services) which is ran by the Department of Justice. Yes, they were so bold that a Federal agency ran by the Department of Justice actually named itself COPS. With a seemingly endless budget this federal arm started by providing much needed money for hiring of officers in local departments, free training of police, and instructions on “Community Policing” (a.k.a. Not to be seen as the military). In May 2016, the COPS Office launched the Advancing 21st Century Policing Initiative, which will provide hands-on assessments and technical assistance to a cohort of law enforcement agencies that have already made strides in advancing task force recommendation implementation. (Members List) It had its beginning as the Obama Executive Order EO13684. The two Texas cities already signed on are Arlington and San Antonio, with the former in the most dire need of changing public opinion from tyrant to tolerable.
In some areas the Task Forces partner with other companies to possibly further disguise the origin of the money and motives. The sneaky part is the Grants, Federal Surplus transfers, free training of police, large cash awards and military gear that are handed out to everyone comes with a legal stipulation of terms that the Feds can changed at will. For LEAs this means you MUST comply with the all new practices and policies in your department. Private training academies take the funds in exchange for offering free services such as training to LEAs. The sole caveat is the demand to follow the new methods, philosophies and look the President demanded in EO 13688. In 2012 the cop hiring program participants got a direct order. They were being required to only hire Veterans that served after 9/11. And had your department taken any funding to help with the hiring process, and billions of dollars had been hurled at most departments suffering budget shortages, you were now given a dictate you had to obey. Hire only military who had just seen combat. (List of departments here) The following year wasn’t a requirement but it indicated that your application would be prioritized on whether or not you hired Vets.
Have you wondered how your city got a military grade MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) vehicle? Most Law Enforcement Agencies obtained them, and other military equipment, through Federal Grants like the Department of Justice’s JAG program. Several Executive Orders from previous presidents have given authority for this to be done. Obama is no stranger to this game and added to it himself on January 16, 2015 when he decreed Executive Order 13688. So many grant programs handing out money left and right and the only stipulation is you must follow Federal policies for your local Law Enforcement Agency. This big dragnet has scooped up the sharks and minnows alike, from the big metropolis to small farm towns they are begging for a handout regardless of the very real loss of liberty inflicted. If our LEAs and 
Federal Agencies are no longer subject to laws that have been weighed and balanced in a three branch system of checks then our constitution and a hope for this countries present power structure to right itself is gone. We must throw overboard the tyranny afoot and demand our inalienable rights no longer be violated or we will soon succumb to a prisoners life chained aboard the hollow capsizing vessel that once held the sweet cargo of freedom.
