We all remember the 5 page hit piece Rolling Stone Magazine did on the Red River event last year that DontComply.com organized. You were sure to have read it and said, well obviously I can tell you aren’t from around here. It seems the good old Yanks are at it again, but they handled it a little more rational this go round. It was a story on Jade Helm and a guy from the Bronx that was down here as National Coordinator for Counter Jade Helm investigating the military’s shenanigans. The story was at a low point where they searched for armed troops running through the streets to no avail. Out of the shadows runs men in fatigues and loaded AR’s arresting citizens and conducting martial law drills. Yes, the pinnacle of the story was the DontComply crew with Come And Take It Texas members filming satire videos of Jade Helm operations. We did stop the tom foolery for a few minutes to be interviewed by Rolling Stone, perform an open carry event at the Police Station and to get an interview with Pete Lanteri.

Out the window, a group of men with thick beards and wearing green fatigues marched by in loose formation, handguns holstered on their hips. They seemed like some bizarre apparition of the very Special Forces Lanteri had been looking for all day, until they doubled back and came inside. Lanteri gripped his drink and stared at them. For slightly less than one half of a second you could see his eyes say, What the fuck? The armed men ordered drinks and introduced themselves. They weren’t from Jade Helm, but from a Second Amendment rights group, “Come and Take It Texas,” out in costume doing a bit of agitprop.”

Here in Texas we know we dont have to fear the military running drills. The government needs to fear us. As most people were buying stored food, digging bunkers and preparing for Jade Helm to turn into a genocidal Germany we showed up loaded with live ammo and cameras. We will not be intimidated by rumors.
