Dontcomply.com was well represented Sunday at the Texas Oathkeepers Summit in Dripping Springs, Texas. When our very own Matthew Short took the stage to calmly belt out a Freedom rant, it was absorbed by hungry ears.
A brief but specific breakdown about who we are and what we do, beginning with our work on the front-lines of gun rights. Commencing with the history making armed rally in Temple in defense of CJ Grisham to ignite the open carry movement that spawned into a full-blown march for expanded gun rights. Matthew then detailed our mass gathering of a large group of rifle toting men and women at the Alamo that was unapproved by San Antonio Police Chief McManus.
Matthew explained how he and Murdoch had fun getting under the skin of the Dallas police by dressing up in jogging attire for an armed demonstration against their request not to bear arms along the dangerous Katy trail. Matthew told the story explaining the importance of our controversial event that opened the eyes of the world to the subject of gun-free zones by staging a mock shooting at the University of Texas in Austin. It was carried out unscathed, undisturbed, and brilliantly executed to prove the exact point of how victim disarmament zones are deadly.
The good deeds that we do for humanity were addressed as well with the civil disobedience that we’ve orchestrated for three years in a row in Dallas. It is unfortunately illegal to feed hungry men and women in the city of Dallas, but that didn’t stop us, we did not adhere to their silly rules and fed and clothed the homeless in downtown anyway and will continue to do so.
When the Bureau of Land Management threatened Texan ranchers along the Red River we were to their rescue and brought along a multitude of patriot brothers and sisters to confront the useless and unnecessary arm of the federal government. Matthew brought to light just a few examples of how dontcomply.com and Come and Take it Texas have and will continue to walk with our shoulders back and our heads held high in the fight for Freedom and strongly encourage others to join us. Time is running out, now is the time to roll up your sleeves and stand up for what you believe.
